#1 Florida Gators vs Kansas Jayhawks

One of the greatest advantages to being a photographer here in Las Vegas is that I sometimes get lucky and get access to shoot some really fun and amazing stuff. I was asked to shoot the final game of the Las Vegas Shootout at the Orleans Arena a few days ago. Being from Kansas, I had been to many Jayhawks games in the past, but quite honestly, I’m a Wildcat fan. Those of you from Kansas will understand the irony of that. Anyways, you would have thought I was in the old Allen Fieldhouse. The place was full of Jayhawk fans and the crowd was electric. I’ve never been so close and it was quite an experience sitting on the base line while shooting and watching what proved to be a very exciting game that went into overtime, with the Jayhawks defeating the number one ranked Gators of Florida. Sure had a good time with this assignment.
